This is a single DVD that is the
easiest way to get up and navigating with digital charts and plotting
on
your computer
It
contains a complete marine navigation system including the
complete set of NOAA raster digital charts for the entire US marine
coast and US possessions. The
charts are all updated to the current issues.
Just
connect your GPS and your boat will show up on
the screen in its correct position on the chart.
The
system is supplied set up for really simple
installation with an easy to use installation menu, so no prior
knowledge or computing expertise is needed to get them up and running.
Everything is fully automated. No fussing with folders or anything
else. Just put the DVD in, a menu appears on your screen, select the
regions you want to have available, and that is it. An icon will appear
on your desktop to run the charting system. The chart regions you
selected will all be ready to use. Nothing else to do.
It
could not be more convenient and simple.
It
can also be run directly from the dvd drive on any computer without
installation, which can be extremely useful. Just put the dvd in any
computer, connect a gps, and you are up and running, with all the
charts immediately available.
